Ženski zonski turnir Istočne Evrope igrao se u Lajpcigu. Igralo se za tri mesta na Turniru kandidatkinja 1955. Pobedile su Suha i Ivanova, dok se za treće mesto igrao plejof meč između Holuj i Kertes koji je završen 1-1 čime je Holuj zauzela treće mesto.
